*Staying Alive – The Healthy Coping Strategies

Within the context of our busy and often stressful lives this talk will focus on our coping strategies for life in our 21st Century. These strategies may either promote or undermine our health. Do weknow which? What price may we be paying and how aware are we of the consequences of our actions?

*Your Healing - Your Health

As the pace of life increases and the amount of information available to us likewise...how do we practically focus in on keeping ourselves as healthy, resourced and resilient as possible?

*Modern and Traditional Perspectives on Health and Healing

This workshop is open to beginners and those with previous experience of meditation from whichever tradition or level. Kevin has nearly 30 years experience using meditation techniques from a variety of pricipally Buddhist and also Taoist approaches.

*Herbs for Health

There will be a strong focus on the practical use in the home.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     *Specialist Day for Healthcare Workers

"Physician Heal Thyself". This workshop will serve as a support for all healthcare workers. We will focus on self care and use of the Healer archetype as well as provide a broad framework for understanding the vital need for healing in our 21st Century, as individuals, as practitioners as well as collectively as a community.

*Constellations Workshops, Saturday 9:30am-5:30pm

The Background: We are all members of family systems. These systems do have profound and at times disturbing influences within our lives, resulting in symptoms such as anxiety and depression, addictive behaviours, a wide range of psychosomatic disorders, an inability to form lasting, fulfilling relationships or disturbed behaviours, even criminality and suicide. Family Constellations Work brings to light the hidden dynamics that cause such disturbances. These often arise from the unresolved conflicts of former generations.

In Practice: The practical foundation is the Constellation. Members from the group are chosen as representatives of an individual's family. Within the Constellation representatives experience feelings, images and bodily sensations that provide insight into hidden entanglements within the family . Skilled facilitation of the emerging process often results in a movement towards a deep healing of the disharmony manifest within an individual and their family system. All participants, whether issue holder, representative, member of the holding circle or facilitator share in the experience of the healing dynamic when this manifests. The Constellation workshop takes place within a contract of respectful confidentiality and self responsibility. Attendees with counselling or psychotherapeutic issues are welcomed and encouraged to use their support structures as necessary after the workshop to fully process the healing movements that manifest.

Kevin trained in Constellations Work in 2000/01, following professional trainings as both a Humanistic Counsellor and an Integrative Psychptherapist. He completed the first full professional training in Family Systems Therapy held in Britain and led by Dr Albrecht Mahr of the International Bert Hellinger Institute. Following this, together with colleagues Karen Hamblett and Heiner Eisenbarth, Sussex Constellations was set up and has successfully run regular workshops in Sussex over the last 10 years. Kevin attended the first International Constellations Intensive held in the southern hemisphere in Sydney in January 2011.
